Challenge:
LiteMotions needed a reliable way to log email signups during client livestreams — often with 500+ simultaneous viewers. The system had to be cost-effective, real-time, and scalable, without relying on third-party tools like Zapier or Make, which would break under volume or drive up costs.
My Role:
I designed and implemented a lightweight infrastructure that captured email submissions directly from Webflow and logged them into Google Sheets using Google Apps Script — no third-party automation tools involved.
What I Delivered:
Built a serverless system using Google Apps Script to receive and log form submissions
Connected Webflow’s form to the script via webhook
Captured and stored each email signup in Google Sheets in real-time
Implemented client-side logic to reveal the livestream once a user submitted their email
Designed the flow to be frictionless and scalable, even under high traffic
Collaboration:
Worked directly with the LiteMotions team to test, iterate, and deploy the signup workflow during livestream events, ensuring stability and performance under load.
Impact:
No reliance on Zapier, Make, or external automation services
Zero marginal cost per signup — even at scaleSeamless user experience from signup to livestream access
A system LiteMotions can replicate and reuse across clients and livestreams
Outcome:
A custom-built, efficient, and scalable livestream signup system that gives LiteMotions and their clients full visibility into viewership — all without breaking the bank or relying on fragile third-party tools.
